With great emotion and joy, the official handover of charitable sponsorship to the Hatzikyriakio Foundation for Child Protection took place today, December 24, 2024, at the premises of St’ Nicholas Business Club. The event was a true tribute to solidarity, love, and giving, actively supporting the Foundation’s invaluable work in providing care, safety, and hope to children in need.
The event began with traditional Christmas carols sung by a group of children from the Foundation, creating a warm and festive atmosphere. The children then received gifts from Board members of St’ Nicholas Business Club, in a touching moment that filled everyone’s hearts with love and optimism.
Attendees also enjoyed a delightful brunch buffet, featuring rich flavors, unique chocolate beverages, and delectable desserts, enhancing the festive experience.
During the event, the President and Founder of the club, Capt. Dimitris Matthaiou, said:
“It is our collective responsibility to look beyond ourselves, recognize the needs around us, and extend a helping hand with warmth and love. Let us never forget that, through our own giving, we can light the spark of hope in lives that are struggling in darkness. And that is the greatest treasure we can share.

After the event, the meeting with members of the Foundation’s Board of Directors confirmed the Club’s commitment to continued support and financial assistance to the Foundation. Members of St’ Nicholas Business Club will remain supportive of the Foundation’s activities, actively supporting its efforts to protect and promote the welfare of the children it hosts.
